Stone Forest’s Bronze Edo Vessel Wins Prestigious RED Award for Design Excellence
Award highlights the fusion of traditional Japanese craft and modern aesthetics
Santa Fe, NM – Stone Forest, renowned for its home and garden designs sculpted from nature’s most exquisite materials, is pleased to announce that its Bronze Edo Vessel has been named a winner of the prestigious RED Award from Luxe Interiors + Design.
The RED (Residential Excellence in Design) Awards celebrate the finest in residential architecture, interior design, and product innovation across the U.S. This annual program highlights standout work that combines beauty, utility, and craftsmanship—and the Edo Vessel stood out among entries for its timeless form and elevated artistry.
Created in collaboration with designer Tod Babick, the Edo Vessel merges ancient influences with a contemporary sensibility. Available in Golden Bronze or Desert Cream Limestone, the design draws inspiration from traditional Japanese pottery while exemplifying the refined materiality and attention to detail that define the Stone Forest aesthetic.
Born of fire, this substantial bronze vessel sink is crafted using traditional sandcasting techniques. Stone Forest leaves the exterior of the sink “rough cast” prior to applying a patina, resulting in a unique finish on each sink, which reflects the design’s ancestry in traditional Japanese pottery.
The Limestone Edo Vessel features a richly textured exterior created with diamond-point tooling and a contrasting hand-polished basin. The Desert Cream Limestone version is hewn from fossil-rich blocks of stone, offering unique natural variations in every piece.
