Decocer’s Atlas Collection Blends Saharan Aesthetics with High-Performance Porcelain
A balance of earthy neutrals and expressive glazed tones designed to bring rhythm, depth, and cohesion to floors and walls.
The Atlas collection by Decocer is born from the fusion of contemporary design and textures inspired by the Saharan landscape, connecting with the primary origins of ceramics as a material rooted in earth, clay, and the handmade gesture.
The collection explores the material and visual richness of the desert from a contemporary architectural perspective, resulting in surfaces capable of dressing both interior and exterior spaces with a sense of serene, timeless elegance.
Made from porcelain stoneware, Atlas allows for the creation of solid, expressive, and coherent surfaces, conceived for interior design and architectural projects that value materiality, rhythm, and durability, while maintaining a carefully considered aesthetic.
Modularity that builds rhythm
Available in 15×15 cm and 5×15 cm formats, the collection offers a versatile modular system that enables compositions ranging from calm, essential surfaces to more graphic and dynamic configurations.
The 15×15 cm format features a matte finish with a mineral texture, while the 5×15 cm format is developed as a glazed, coloured piece, adding chromatic intensity and visual accent to the compositions.
The introduction of the glazed 5×15 cm format, available in the tones of the decorative pieces, reinforces the modular character of the collection and multiplies compositional possibilities for both floors and walls.
Colour and material in balance
Atlas combines neutral bases —White and Terracotta— with a carefully curated selection of highly expressive glazed decorative pieces in Blue, Green, Khaki Green, Cotto, Black, and White.
Earthy tones evoke desert sand and clay, while greens, blues, and blacks introduce contrast, chromatic depth, and a more pronounced contemporary reading.
Each colour has been developed to dialogue with the rest of the palette, allowing for smooth transitions or more striking contrasts depending on the intent of the project.
Surfaces with architectural character
In Atlas compositions, the ceramic surface integrates into the architecture as a continuous, enveloping plane, capable of adapting to niches, arches, and spatial transitions without losing coherence.
The dialogue between matte surfaces and glazed pieces introduces rhythm and depth, while the regular modulation and controlled reading of the grout reinforce a sense of serene order.
The result is warm, balanced spaces in which the material accompanies the architecture and enhances its expression without overpowering it.
Technical rigor at the service of design
Atlas combines a timeless aesthetic with solid technical performance. Its porcelain nature guarantees durability, resistance, and versatility of use, whether on walls or floors, indoors or outdoors, allowing formaterial continuity and coherence throughout the architectural project.
A collection that connects landscape and architecture
Atlas does not seek to dominate: it structures, accompanies, and enhances space. It is a collection conceived for contemporary architecture that values materiality, balance, and the serene expression of design. A porcelain surface that translates the essence of the desert into durable, precise, and deeply expressive spaces.

Editor's Note:
Atlas continues Decocer’s exploration of nature as inspiration, extending the rich chromatic language seen in Mikado Wall, Nébula, and Volcano into a more architectural, desert-driven context. While earlier collections highlighted bold burgundies, deep blues, and warm earth tones, Atlas pairs soft mineral neutrals with expressive glazed accents that bring measured color and rhythm to each composition. The progression reflects Decocer’s evolving dialogue between landscape, surface, and contemporary design.
