Buster + Punch’s Linear Switches Turn Utility into Art

London — Buster + Punch expands its iconic solid metal Electricity Collection with a new line of modular toggle switches, dimmers, outlets, and USB modules—unifying its design language across every room and detail in the home. For the first time, the brand’s refined, architectural Linear knurl is available in the celebrated Electricity Collection.

Reimagined with the same precision detailing and sculptural minimalism that defines Buster + Punch’s cabinet hardware, the new Linear toggle switches and dimmers are inspired by the proportions of vintage hi-fi equipment and the technical mastery of fine Swiss horology. Dimmer index rings are laser-etched with numerical indices to amplify precision and presence—while the sleek Linear knurling on toggles and knobs adds a sharper edge to the brand’s signature solid metal forms. The metal wall plates are accented with signature Torx head screws, as the final detail.

“I believe tactile amps and stacked hi-fi equipment have the perfect dimensions for dimmers and switches. When you use these classics, you experience a real physical connection with the function, and there’s an anticipation around what follows the action – the excitement of the rising volume or change of track. That feeling is exactly what I wanted to bring to the new Linear switches, dimmers, and outlets,” says Massimo Buster Minale, founder and creative director of Buster + Punch.

The launch of Linear Electricity marks a pivotal moment for the brand’s modular design philosophy. The new Linear Detail Kits also give users the freedom to swap between design languages—starting with Cross, now Linear, and soon Cast—without replacing the core electrical module. Every part is crafted from solid metal and engineered for effortless integration, letting users evolve the look of their space as their aesthetic shifts over time.

Loved by A-listers, architects, and design tastemakers, Buster + Punch’s electricity components are among the most sought-after interior details in the world. With the debut of Linear Electricity, the brand once again redefines the intersection of function, luxury, and personal expression—bringing its boldest design story full circle.

The new collection is available in the brand’s signature finishes: white, black, steel, brass, and smoked bronze. Certified, UL and ETL listed for North America, Linear Electricity is offered as both fully assembled units and interchangeable detail kits—making luxury customization more seamless than ever.
