California Faucets Brings Nature’s Beauty Indoors with San Elijo™ Faucet Series Featuring Teak Handles
The soft-contemporary design blends minimalism with the beauty and durability of teak
(Huntington Beach, CA) California Faucets presents the San Elijo™ Series—a new bath faucet that blends modern design with the natural warmth of teak wood. With a softened contemporary look, San Elijo features a gently rounded spout and optional teak wood lever or cross handles. Even the wooden handles are lightly rounded for an overall more graceful look and feel. Recognized for its durability and resistance to moisture, teak wood features an exquisite grain pattern which infuses texture and a touch of organic beauty into the bath. Homeowners and designers can pair any of California Faucets 25-plus artisan finishes with the teak wood handles or even create a unique split-finish look to make a personalized statement in the bath.
“As our first faucet series to use wood, San Elijo comes directly ‘From Nature to Your Home,’” says California Faucets Chief Marketing Officer Noah Taft, playing off of the company’s “From Our Hands to Your Home” tagline. And thanks to the company’s commitment to sustainability and passion to always “do right” by customers, the teak wood is sourced from a sustainable grove planted especially for this use. “No endangered rainforests were harmed during the creation of our handles,” Taft quips.
Reflecting California Faucets dedication to using only top-quality materials, teak is more than a mere aesthetic choice. Widely considered to be one of the most durable woods, teak is long-lasting and easy to care for. Teak is prized for its natural water resistance and ability to withstand decay and warping. Commonly used for boat decks and outdoor patio furniture, teak stands up to wet environments, making it a great option for use in the bathroom.
Besides infusing the inherent warmth of nature into the bath, the San Elijo Series speaks to those looking for a clean, contemporary look with less of an edge. The solid brass spout blends corners and curves in an artful way. Even the corners of the San Elijo handles are gently rounded for a soft-modern effect. With mixed textures and materials trending in interiors, the teak handles provide a fresh new option for designers. While the teak wood is a beautiful accent to any of the company’s artisan-applied finishes, it’s especially stunning paired with one of California Faucets trending brass finishes.
San Elijo is available in both widespread and single-hole styles. Like all California Faucets series, it offers a complete array of coordinating accessories. Designers can carry the look throughout the bath with matching handshowers, shower controls, towel bars, hooks, paper holders, cabinet knobs and pulls and more.
Pricing for the San Elijo series starts at $795 for a single hole style and $1,395 for the widespread bath faucet in Polished Chrome.
